I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and a graduate of Southwestern College, holding a Master's degree in Counseling with an Emphasis in Grief, Trauma and Loss.
Currently, I have a private psychotherapy practice in Santa Fe, New Mexico, working with men, women, couples, and groups. I serve as Secretary on the Board of Directors of the New Mexico Association for Spiritual, Ethical and Religious Values in Counseling (NMASERVIC). I also volunteer with Gerard's House, a grief center for children and their families.
My approach is transformational and client-centered, with exploration a key theme. My work with clients is deeply informed by my personal commitment to self- esteem, healthy relationships and transformational potential. I encourage spiritual exploration as an integral part of the journey toward wholeness.
Born and raised in Northern California, I moved to New Mexico over 21 years ago. I am deeply at home in Santa Fe and feel fortunate to live and work in this community.
I am blessed with a wealth of life experience, including profound heights and crushing lows. After experiencing the sudden and unexpected loss of my beloved intimate partner, I began what felt like an uncharted journey of grief and transformation. The result has been an extraordinary deepening of my personal connection with Love and Spirit. This has led me directly and naturally into my work as a therapist. My passion and my purpose is helping others to learn and grow in response to life's challenges.
I am extremely grateful for every aspect of life's journey so far, both the rewards and the challenges. I feel honored to be able to share the journey with you.
